CAST

SIERRA TAYLOR (Medea) - Sierra Taylor is a junior Theatre major scholarship recipient at the
University of La Verne. Besides acting, Sierra also loves to sing and dance. She teaches little girls jazz and hip hop at the Via Verde Dance Center and occasionally jams with her rock/alternative band called Intrinsic from Rancho Cucamonga. Sierra has done theatre since she was 6 and film work since she was 11. At the University of La Verne, she has been seen in productions such as: Sport of My Mad Mother, A Lonely Business, The Screens, The Power of Hope, Red Noses, Three Penny Opera, The House of Atreus, and The Directing Projects. She has also choreographed A Lonely Business, A Baltimore Waltz, and Three Penny Opera at the University of La Verne. When Sierra is not involved in theatre, she is working with the Housing Department at school as a Resident Assistant for the freshman Dormitory Brandt. Sierra is ecstatic to have been granted the opportunity to work with such an amazing group of people. She is overjoyed to be apart of the Hollywood Fringe Festival and more than eager to explore the world of Medea.


CODY GOSS (Jason) - Cody Goss is currently a Theatre Arts major at the University of Laverne. Starting his theatre career in college, he has played roles such as Agamemnon from The Oresteia, and The Lieutenant from The Screens. With over a decade of athletic background, he enjoys facing the new physical and mental challenges that theatre has to offer. 









ALVARO RENTERIA (Ancaeus) is currently a senior Theatre major at the University of La Verne. He was first introduced to theatre in high school and he has been intrigued by the possibilities since then.  He has been a part of a few productions at the University of La Verne, some which include The House of Atreus, Raisin in the Sun, Three Penny Opera, Red Noses, The Screens and Twelfth Night. He is extremely thrilled and thankful to be included this production and working with an amazing group of people.

CREW

MATTHEW G. HILL (director) - Matthew G. Hill is a multi-media, multi-disciplinary artistic enigma. His work spans from the stages of Europe to the silver screen of Hollywood to the printed page. A storyteller by trade and by heart, Matthew believes in the power of story, and hopes to use it to inspire. In the last few years, Matthew has completed residencies at both the National Theatre of Croatia and the Getty Villa in Malibu, co-wrote a Kairos Prize-winning screenplay, had his paintings displayed as a part of the TataGala, and art directed the award-winning Amazon Studios's movie “Alchemist Agenda”. Matthew currently serves as an associate artist with the Rogue Artists Ensemble, teaches design at the University of La Verne, and is hard at work on several exciting projects. Recent stage credits include: "Zen Shorts", "Three Penny Opera", "The Songs of Bilitis" as a part of the Getty Theatre Lab, "Woman in Mind" (currently playing at the Sierra Madre Playhouse), and "D is for Dog" (currently playing at the Hudson). ALEXIS ROBLES (stage manager) - Alexis Nicole Robles is a junior double major at the University of La Verne in both History, and Theatre, emphasis in stage management. She has been a dedicated member of the Theatre Department since Janaury 2011. Past credits include stage manager of The Pillowman, Power of Hope, A Lonely Business, For Your Consideration, the Spring 2012 One-Acts Festival, and assistant stage manager of The Screens, Red Noses, and Three Penny Opera. She is currently the student manager with Bon Appetit Management Company and the summer crew supervisor for the ULV Theatre Department. Beginning in Fall 2012 she will take on the positions of Production Manager and House Manager for Raisin in the Sun and Urinetown at the University of La Verne. She is overwhelmed with emotion to have the opportunity to display the culmination of her theatrical education with such an amazing cast and crew . Medea will be her first production at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, in which she will be a major producing agent as well as stage manager.
