Workshop 1

First post in 2013!

Sweet. Well I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas and New Years. I just returned from Europe two nights ago and am extremely jet-lagged, but I had the most fantastical Christmas break and some that I could have ever asked for. But back the reality!

Before New Years, we had our first workshop where a few people were invited to watch and share opinions with the first presentation. I really liked the process of work-shopping. We spent about 4 hours with the script the day prior to the actual workshop and I think an hour or two more before. I really like working on a script like that for a long time, so this was a blast to do. We still had scripts in hand, which was good. It gave Andrew a chance to listen to how the dialogue sounded, which was the most important focus for this workshop: the sound of the script.

We explored very lose, simple blocking and found some cool possibilities that might be kept for later on.

I really liked what all of the guests had to say, I think they were all very helpful and can't wait to see how they impact the final product.
